New regulations (Ordinance No. 3.714/2023) require companies with more than 100 employees to adopt salary transparency measures, but there are concerns about privacy and competition.

Did you know that equal pay between men and women is an increasingly relevant topic in the business world? On 24/11/2023, the Ministry of Labor and Employment published Ordinance No. 3.714/2023, which details the procedures established by Decree No. 11.795/2023 and Law No. 14.611/2023.
These regulations require companies with more than 100 (one hundred) to implement reporting channels for cases of salary inequality, in addition to publishing a Salary Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report. However, we understand that this disclosure could compromise workers' privacy and expose sensitive information to the public and even competitors.
That's why Peck Advogados is here to help. Our specialized team has supported clients in mitigating the impacts of the Decree, ensuring compliance with legal obligations without compromising the confidentiality of business and employee information.
We believe that combating wage inequality is fundamental, but we also understand the importance of protecting the interests of companies, workers and society as a whole.
